Built in 1865 and completely renovated in 2004 for your comfort, convenience and creativity, Crop-A-Doodle-Do boasts a custom designed scrapping room that offers each person a dedicated well-lit and well-equipped work space (greater than 4ft. per person). A wonderful and relaxing get-away!!!! Reviewed by stephanie1, 2007-04-06 17:32:51 I've been to several scrapbooking retreats and this one is the best one hands down!! I've been here at least ten times, and I've got several future weekends booked. Lots and lots of space for scrapbooking, a very inviting, relaxing gathering room to socialize and just kick back to watch television or chat with the girls, comfortable beds, very clean accommodations and the food is AMAZING. You'll be spoiled rotten from the minute you arrive to the minute you leave. Brenda and Melissa are wonderful hostesses, the spa services are great, the spacious home and quiet surroundings are a breath of fresh air, and you could not ask for a better place to be with your girlfriends. A definite must for any scrapbooker!!!!!

Reviewed by Connie Mortensen, 2007-04-03 09:34:41 I cannot put into words how fabulous Crop-a -Doodle-Do is I have gone to getaways in Michigan and Indiana and I will never go anywhere else again. There was nothing that wasn't 100 % stellar. There are 6 of us that travel together and we all felt the same, Love you guys.
my favorite birthday trip yet! Reviewed by Justine Trevor, 2007-04-02 18:42:03 I went with two friends to Crop-A-Doodle-Do for my birthday weekend. We had a fantastic time. My friends worked on their scrapbooks, while I brought my embroidery stuff and finished two entire Christmas stockings. We had so much fun, got a lot done and completely relaxed. The place itself is magical, which sounds corny, but every room has floor to ceiling windows, so no matter where you are, including the workroom, you have an expansive view of farm land that goes on forever and ever. I'm dying to go back in the summer when the corn is as high as an elephant's eye. Whether it's in the summer some other season, we will definitely be going back. We might even make it a yearly pilgrimage. |
